In 2015 the company became Pet Cause Media and expanded its scope to support all worthy pet-related causes such as rescues, lost pets and adoptables.

By helping veterinarians "pre-educate" clients on important topics that support their practices, and by partnering with pet industry sponsors who actively support pet welfare, Pet Cause Media is a powerful collaboration geared to support the common goal of the veterinary industry and pet nonprofits: Helping more pets!

Meet our Leadership Team!

Peter has held executive and management positions at several companies in the past twenty years. Prior to the Pet Chance companies he spent over eight years at IBM where he managed global client support and problem management teams for several brands in IBM Software Group. Before joining IBM, he participated in executive management and advisory roles for several small/startup companies and was also a business and technical consultant. He was CEO and Co-Founder of New England Technology Center (NETC) from 1997-2002. NETC provided technical consulting and training globally to businesses, including many Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Alberti holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and has also been granted numerous professional certifications. He has been an adjunct faculty member at UMass Lowell and is a periodic guest lecturer at various colleges and universities as well as at local startup/business panels.


A seasoned business strategy veteran, Joe held a variety of managerial and executive positions at IBM, CompuWorks, and New England Technology Center over the past twenty years. His leadership experience includes the co-founding, development and growth of an IT consulting and training firm; the creation and management of new partner/channel programs; and global financial management within an $80M support organization. Mr. Kiggen attended Westfield State College and holds multiple professional certifications from IBM Leadership, Microsoft, STI/HDI, and CompTIA.


Mike Sachleben brings over twenty years of experience to the Pet Cause Media team as an entrepreneur and strategist. Most recently, Mike served the National Brain Tumor Society as their Chief Technology Officer and Interim Chief Operating Officer. There, Mike assured that the organization was using technology which would best serve online fundraising efforts for the next 3 years. He also provided managerial oversight to the customer service and marketing departments. Earlier this decade, Mike and his family spent a year and a half in the UK, where he helped the largest purveyor of online fundraising pages to rebuild their database infrastructure and reconceptualize their web site into an online platform. Mike has started and run multiple companies, including a database consulting firm and one that created a telephone-based speed networking platform. Mike obtained a BA in Economics, Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University in 1992.
